Booking Conditions

These terms and conditions are applicable to all guests booking directly with Arajilla Pty Ltd ABN 16 091 770 866.

Inclusions

Rates are inclusive of gourmet breakfast, light lunch, tea & coffee, pre-dinner canapes, all non-alcoholic drinks, selected alcoholic beverages, three course dinner, airport return transfers, bicycles, light fishing gear, snorkelling equipment and WI-FI.

Rates

a) All rates are valid for the period of the agreement, quoted in Australian dollars.
b) All rates are applicable only for reservations made directly with Arajilla Lord Howe Island.
c) Gross Retail rates must not be discounted or shown on 3rd party websites without Arajilla Lord Howe Island authorisation.
d) All rates are subject to availability.
e) Bedding Configuration:

– Kentia Suite – 1 x King bed (max occupancy is 2 pax)
– Banyan Suite – 1 x King bed and pull out sofa upstairs (max occupancy is 3 pax)
– Arajilla Suite – 2 bedrooms with a King Bed in each, additional rollaway can be added (max occupancy is 5 pax)
– All King beds are king split

f) Extra adult charge is inclusive of a rollaway bed if required.
g) Selected quality wine, beer, sparkling and spirits are inclusive of rates, premium beverage list available to purchase during stay.

Family Policy

a) Arajilla provides accommodation for children from the age of six years (inclusive).

Check-in and Check-out

Check-in is from 2:00pm and check-out is 10:00am. Rooms required for check-in prior to 2:00pm require pre-registration to guarantee availability. If you are planning to arrive earlier, your clients are welcome to make use of the facilities at Arajilla Retreat. Luggage will be stored until their room becomes available.

Deposits and Payments

A 30% deposit is required within 14 days of booking. If no deposit is received, bookings may be cancelled. Full payment must be made 30 days prior to guest’ arrival. For bookings made within 30 days, payment must be made within 48 hours of booking.

Cancellation Policy

As a small property, our business depends on maximising occupancy and cancellations often result in empty rooms due to booking lead times. For cancellations 50 days to 21 days of arrival the deposit will be forfeited. Within 21 days of arrival all monies will be forfeited.

Please note: to avoid cancellation penalties, cancellations must be confirmed in writing.

Credit Arrangement

Subject to approval by the Hotel’s Credit Manager, the hotel will extend a 30-day credit term to the Tour Operator. This line of credit will enable the Tour Operator to reserve rooms without the necessity of pre-payment. However, this credit facility does not affect the Hotel’s deposit and cancellation terms of this agreement.

Application for charge-back (i.e. credit) must be applied for, in writing, directly to the Hotel.

The existence of this contract does not automatically guarantee charge-back facility. Should the Tour Operator fail to effect payment of any outstanding charges within the 30-day credit period, the hotel will be free to withdraw the credit of the facility.

The Hotel also reserves the right to refuse any new bookings on a credit basis until all outstanding accounts are settled.

Taxes/Service Charges

All rates are inclusive of Goods and Services Tax (GST). Arajilla Lord Howe Island reserves the right to adjust the rates stated in this Contract in the event of any alteration to Federal, State or Local Government taxes relating to service charges, room tax or bed taxes on any products and/or services offered by Arajilla Lord Howe Island.

Liability

We do not accept any liability of whatever nature for the acts, omission or default, whether negligent or otherwise of service providers over whom we have no direct control. Nor do we accept any liability for any injury, damage, loss, delay, additional expense or inconvenience caused directly by major majeure or any other event, which is beyond our control or which is preventable by reasonable diligence on our part.

Travel Insurance

We STRONGLY recommend that all guests obtain travel insurance including a cancellation policy, emergency medical care and weather delays.

Booking Procedures

Please advise the following when making a booking request:

  • Full names and ages of passengers
  • Rooming arrangements
  • Arrival and departure dates
  • Method of arrival and departure including flight numbers if applicable
  • Any special dietary requirements or medical conditions

Credit card payments will be accepted, however, an administration fee of 3% will be levied on credit cards. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Direct Deposit.

Confidentiality

The operator confirms and agrees that this agreement between the operator and Arajilla Lord Howe Island shall not under any circumstances divulge or permit as such the contents of this agreement.

Contract Validity

Contracts are not valid after thirty (30) days from date of issue unless returned duly signed.

Until Arajilla Lord Howe Island receives a signed copy of the contract, these rates are not valid. Arajilla Lord Howe Island reserves the right to make the contract invalid due to the lack of materialisation of room nights or non-payment.

Conditions

If these Terms & Conditions are not met by the Operator, Arajilla Lord Howe Island reserves the right to withdraw this contract.

Policy Modifications & Contacting Hotel
